Chronic stress is what happens if your body and mind have to endure with constant stress and pressures in a long period without any treatment or therapy to lessen the condition. When faced with constant stress in daily life, our body has the tendency to react to stress strongly as it is a fatal situation. Long-term exposure to stress can be the cause of serious health problems, from damaging the internal organs of the body to causing mental illnesses. Constant suffering of stress leaves you vulnerable of any negative external factors, and exposes you to the threat of serious depression or autism if not treated properly. Possible consequences of chronic stress include aches and pains, heart diseases, digestive problems, insomnia, depression, obesity and even dermatological problems.
These consequences of chronic stress are all serious and might even be fatal, but it is possible to prevent one from suffering from constant stress. We should all learn to protect ourselves from potential health risks and lead a happy lifestyle.
